Gerry McDougall

Gerald McDougall has been the head of Personalized Health Care and Health Science practices for PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than 20 years as a senior partner. He built and led the firm's Global Health Science consulting practice, helping establish PwC as the global leader among strategy and consulting firms in the creation of strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnerships across the health care value chain.

In the public sector, McDougall has advised the Secretaries of the US Departments of Health and Human Services and of Defense; the Director of the National Institute of Health; and the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.

In the private sector, McDougall has advised a wide array of Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, Amazon, Sanofi, Novartis, McKesson, Bristol Myers Squibb, Stryker, Siemens, Phillips, GE, Verisign, Nike, NVIDIA, and private equity firms such as Carlyle Group, TA Associates and KPCB.

With his expertise in genomics, systems biology, regenerative medicine, advanced molecular diagnostics, and immuno-oncology, he designs complex but elegant strategic models; assembling the necessary components of multi-disciplinary expertise; creating unique financing mechanisms; and steering projects through to success.
